Arnold Hall Theater

On March 6, 2010 I took a friend who is paralyzed on one side to see Le Cirque. We had his handicap parking permit and were told we would still have to park in an upper lot. I asked if I could drop him off at the door and was allowed that even though there were handicapped spots available at the door. I went and parked the car and came down to meet him. He walks with a cane but it is still very slow and a lot of work for him to get around. When we got in he had to walk from the farthest left doors to the farthest right doors to the metal detectors and then to our seat which were on the far left of the building. Not to mention using the restroom which was on the far right of the building. At the end of the show I had to go pick up the car and wait in the mass of cars before I could drive down to retrieve my friend. Needless to say it could've been a much more pleasant experience for someone with a handicap.
