The NULITES Halo 3™ Tournament will be held the weekend of February 23rd & 24th in the Entertainmart Game room at 651 N. Academy on the corner of Platte and Academy. The game-play of this tournament is four-man teams, single elimination (best two games out of three) with a final prize of $2,000.00 for the winning team. There will also be (4) additional side tournaments: Guitar Hero III ™, Super Smash Brothers: Melee™, Guilty Gear Accent Core™ and Tekken 5™. All winners will be announced on Sunday, February 24th HALO tickets are $20.00 per individual, $60.00 per team and side tournaments starting at $10.00; all available at the Urban League, Entertainmart, and online at www.coloradocutthroat.com.

The Urban League NULITES has partnered with Colorado Cutthroat Connections and the National Video Game Association making this upcoming HALO 3 tournament a pre-qualifier for the Super Con in New Mexico, May 22nd-25th . Therefore will be ran under Major League Gamming rules – NVGA double elimination
The main focus of NULITES is to promote and maintain high standards of well being, education, character and leadership qualities. Through the implementation of its program goals, structure and required educational seminars and community service projects, NULITES Halo 3 Tournament is being held in order to raise funds for college scholarships, the National Urban League Youth Leadership Summit, and team building activities.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the League's NULITES program in three focus areas:

The Urban League of the Pikes Peak Region, an affiliate of the National Urban League is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 1964. The mission of the Urban League of the Pikes Peak Region is to promote equal opportunities for African-Americans, other minorities and the disadvantaged through education, economic empowerment and advocacy. The Urban League seeks to fulfill its vision and mission through programs in education, economic self sufficiency, community building and continuing focus on eradication all barriers to equal participation in the economic social mainstream.
