Vietnamese Garden
I'm a big fan of vietnamese food, and had thought i'd seen (and tasted) it all, that was before my friend took me to Vietnamese Garden. Delicious food, a calm atmosphere and a pleasant and knowledgeable waitstaff, quickly put this cozy spot above the rest. And forget siagon cafe, this place has the best bun (noodle bowl) in town. My biggest pet peeve in vietnamese restaurants is a bun with 80 percent lettuce, 20 percent noodles. This is why vietnamese garden is going to ultimately succeed: quality. With just the right amount of lettuce, cucumber and fresh herbs, their noodle bowl was well proportioned and filling. It seems that the building's location hasn't brought much luck to the previous restaurants that occupied it, but i'm sure that word-of-mouth is going to make this restaurant Colorado Springs (soon not to be) best kept secret.
its saturday night theres only one server on,15 minutes we get are sodas 10 more minutes she takes our order dosent even bother to bring us our spring roll apps.brings out entirely wrong order 20 more mins we finally get our cold noodle bowls dosent bother to ask how anything is,than offers us a free dessert then charges us for it! if you want good vietnamese food stick with saigon cafe or siagon grill this place will not last among real vietnamese restraunts in the springs two thumbs down
This food is delightful! There is something to please all tastes. I especially like the fritters and the spicy beef soup. They have great prices as well
Delicious, authentic Vietnamese fare in a charming location in Old Colorado City. Everything is cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The soups are especially inviting on a chilly winter day! The prices are as refreshing as the food...a real bargain for truly great cuisine!
