"Tribute" In Honor of Our Military
Please join us for an evening of art, history and culture as Cottonwood Center for the Arts hosts their first juried art show to honor our military. The military in Colorado Springs shares a noble presence dating back to 1942. Art holds the capacity to reflect aspects of history on a personal human level. As a community Cottonwood continues to reach-out, invite, involve, and honor our military and their families. This show will feature the original artwork of regional artists as well as selected historical pieces on loan from Peterson Air Force Base, the Air Force Academy and Fort Carson. Opening Friday, May 28th from 5:00 pm - 8:30pm, "Tribute" will be located in the C. B. Herbertson Gallery on the first floor at Cottonwood Center for the Arts, showing through June 17th.
