Thin Air Jazz plays a mixture of original compositions and arrangements made popular by the great big bands that came before it. Audiences are treated to music from the Basie Band, Woody Herman's Band, Buddy Rich's Band and Maynard Ferguson's bebop band of the ‘50s and ‘60s.
Thin Air Jazz is a 12-piece big band. Each member of the band is a gifted jazz soloist and is given several opportunities to be heard.
