United States Paper Money

March 23: United States Paper Money – Washington wasn’t always on the front of a $1 bill. Look at some of the past bills we’ve used, the recent changes to our money, and the ways that we keep our money from being copied in a counterfeiter’s basement.

Interested in collecting coins or learning more about money? The Money Museum offers free monthly classes in the Kids Zone for children ages 4-12. Children learn about history, geography, trade, art, world cultures and more.

When:
•10:30 a.m. to noon, ages 4-7
•1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., ages 8-12.

Where: The Money Museum, 818 N. Cascade Ave. in Colorado Springs

Cost: Free for children 12 and under (When children take a Kids Zone class, their parents can explore the Money Museum for free.)
