World Paper Money

May 25: World Paper Money – In some other countries, paper money is pink, or yellow, or blue. Or in denominations of hundreds, thousands, or even millions. This class will look at some examples of world paper money and think about why it looks like it does.

Interested in collecting coins or learning more about money? The Money Museum offers free monthly classes in the Kids Zone for children ages 4-12. Through fun activities, children can pick up basic and advanced concepts – from how to make change… Show more to understanding monetary systems. Children learn about history, geography, trade, art, world cultures and more.

When:
•10:30 a.m. to noon, ages 4-7
•1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m., ages 8-12.

Where: The Money Museum, 818 N. Cascade Ave. in Colorado Springs

Cost: Free for children 12 and under (When children take a Kids Zone class, their parents can explore the Money Museum for free.)
