BROADWAY BOUND - UNC Musical Theatre Senior Showcase

They're headed to Broadway ... but before they go, they're bringing Broadway to Colorado Springs!

The UNC 2013 Musical Theatre class presents BROADWAY BOUND, a show based on their upcoming New York Senior Showcase. These talented actors/singers/dancers thrilled audiences in Ragtime, Parade, Anything Goes, Next to Normal, Footloose, The Music Man, and a host of other productions. The cast will hold a talkback after the show. This event is open to the public and organized by the cast to raise funds… Show more for their week-long NYC audition trip. Free will donations will be gratefully accepted (suggested donation $15 adults, $10 students). Doors open at 6:30.

Each year, the New York Showcase gives UNC students the opportunity to audition before 75 to 100 agents, casting directors, managers, producers, directors and playwrights. It is sponsored by the UNC School of Theatre Arts and Dance which has, over the past 25 years, placed its alumni in 37 different productions on Broadway, as well as in off-Broadway shows, Broadway touring companies, regional theatres, TV and film.
