“Beyond Colorado” Workshops for Businesses Looking to Expand Internationally

The office of Colorado U.S. Senator Michael Bennet today announced it will co-host a series of workshops – entitled “Beyond Colorado: How to Bring Your Products and Services to the Global Marketplace” – across the state for Colorado businesses looking to expand abroad.

In the first ten months of 2012, Colorado’s exports increased by 10 percent, amounting to nearly $7 billion in revenue for Colorado businesses. These workshops are designed to help businesses, entrepreneurs, ranchers, farmers, agricultural… Show more producers, and food processors take advantage of this trend and grow their customer base outside the U.S.

At the workshop, attendees will hear from panelists who have a broad range of experience in exporting products, financing overseas distribution, and protecting intellectual property. Information will be provided from the Colorado Department of Agriculture, U.S. Department of Commerce, Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, World Trade Center Denver and the Colorado Bar Association Intellectual Property (IP) Section.
