On 40th Roe v. Wade anniversary
Colorado Springs to hold Memorial Prayer Service
for pre-born babies and their mothers and fathers

Christians in Colorado Springs will gather for an interdenominational prayer service to mark the 40th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton Supreme Court rulings which legalized abortion-on-demand through all nine months of pregnancy in the U.S.

Protestants and Catholics will join in solemn remembrance of the 55 million American children killed by abortion… Show more since 1973. They will pray for mothers and fathers who have suffered from abortion. They will ask for God's mercy on our city and nation.

They will pray for the end of abortion in Colorado Springs at the Planned Parenthood abortion facility, 3480 Centennial Blvd. They will pray for abortion workers and for the healing of post-aborted mothers and fathers. They will pray for the youth, families and churches of Colorado Springs so that our community will be a place of life and blessing for all who live here.

Those who will speak and lead in prayer include physicians, nurses, women who have suffered from abortion, youth leaders and pastors.
