March 8, 2010, Black Forest, Colorado – Grant-Lee Phillips, The Greencards and Great Lake Swimmers headline the second annual MeadowGrass Music Festival on Memorial Day weekend, featuring two days of national and regional artists performing roots, Americana, bluegrass, indie and blues music in the meadow of La Foret Conference and Retreat Center.

Grant-Lee Phillips headlines on Saturday, May 29, along with Gregory Alan Isakov, Grant Gordy Quartet, Martha Scanlan, Antero Junction and The Genuwines. On Sunday, May 30, The Greencards lead the lineup that includes Great Lake Swimmers, Sons and Brothers, Elephant Revival, Palmer Divide and Cahalen Morrison. La Foret is a 400-acre resort with a sunny meadow surrounded by pine forests in Black Forest, just an hour south of Denver and a few minutes north of Colorado Springs. MeadowGrass Music Festival was featured in the August 2009 issue of Outside magazine, naming Colorado Springs No. 1 of America’s Best Cities.

Tickets are $20 one-day advance and $30 gate, or $50 for the all-festival pass. The all-festival pass offers the opportunity for free camping during the festival at La Foret along with admission to a Friday night kickoff concert with Grass It Up.
