I have only the best of compliements! The customer service was A+.......the chips and salsas were an A+........the drinks were an A+......the food was an A+. The waiter was absolutely amazing and the portions are VERY generous! Go eat there!! Will definitely go back!
Long ago I had heard that Estela's was the best Mexican food in town. Now that they have reopened I have heard from a reliable source that the food was not as good. Last night my family and I opted to try out Estela's. What a disappointment. The waiter was constantly telling us how great the food was. I personally don't want to be told, just bring me the food. He did bring us samples of the salsas and the green and red chili. The hot salsa and the pico was good. The chilis on the other had did not have much flavor. The food was delivered very timely, but was smothered in either cheez whiz or canned nacho cheese. The rice was over cooked and the food, if there was any flavor was overpowered by the cheese. The sopas (despite the waiter's bragging about how they are the best in town) were unimpressive. I could have gotten better food from a frozen TV dinner. There will be no second chance for this place to take my money.
