Active-Duty Military Families are Invited to Take Free Family Portraits during a Portraits of Love On-Base Session at USO Fort Carson on Jan. 26
WHAT: USO Fort Carson in Colorado Springs will host a special on-base session for PMDA’s (PhotoImaging Manufacturers and Distributors Association) Fourth Annual Portraits of Love Project. This will be Earnest’s second year working a Portraits of Love session at Fort Carson.
Co-sponsored by some of the biggest names in photography, Portraits of Love enables professional photographers to donate their time and talent in honor of our nation’s military. Following the session, families receive an email link to access their portrait through Shutterfly, along with a code to redeem for prints. One print can be sent to a loved one serving overseas. Families can take part in Portraits of Love through special on-base sessions, USO facility sessions or private sessions at volunteer photographers’ studios. The sessions occur nationwide until Jan. 31, 2013.
WHEN: The special on-base session at USO Fort Carson will occur on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
